Ria, Ria, Hungária!

Tegnap vízilabda elődöntőt néztünk élőben, ezért elővettem a régi grundos posztomat és megosztom újra a képeket. A linkre kattintva a minta részletes leírása is ott van, de a képről is abszolút egyértelmű.

As Hungary was yesterday in the semi finals of the waterpolo European Championships - and we were there watching it live! - I have decided to share my old tutorial of the knot/makrame bracelet. I have published this post on our Hungarian shared-blog, Gundaktiv, 8 months ago. There you can find the tutorial in HU, but on request I can translate it in EN as well. But I think the picture is pretty understandable.

Tegnap a meccs előtt ennek a számnak egy pop-osított  (na ezt hogy írják)verzíója ment, női énekessel. Hát ez azért sokkal jobb.

Flowers and scarves

Először jött az ötlet Zazaleától, hogy a Barkabologon lehet Moebius sálat tanulni. Aztán a Ravelryn volt egy csomó virágos sálas kép, gondoltam ilyen kell. A Crochet Geek blogról fél óra alatt megtanultam virágokat horgolni, aztán a kettőt kombináltam és kész!

First I got the inspirationf from Hungarian blogger Zazalea that on this blog you can learn how to crochet a Moebius scarf. After googleing in Ravelry I have found a lot of scarfs with very nice flowers. So within half an hour i have learnt from the Crochet Geek blog how to crochet flowers. After that I combined both and VOILA!

Virágok/ Flowers

Moebius sál - a mintában 4 egyráhajtásos kell egy lyukba, de a fonal jó vastag volt, ezért csak 3 lett. (és közben meggondoltam, hogy nem is kell moebius, de aztán nem figyeltem és véletlen az lett) / The Moebius scarf - in the pattern they use 4 stiches in one hole, but my yarn was very thick, so I only made 3. (and in the meantime I changed my mind and didn't want any moebius at all, but once I didn't pay attention and it just happened to be one!)

Van a belvárosban egy ezoterikus könyvesbolt, mindenféle gyertyákat meg köveket is árulnak. Engem ez nem igazán köt le, viszont az ajtó előtt van egy rágógumiautomata, csak rágó helyett kövekkel töltve. 2 Euróért vehetsz egy marék színes követ (13-15 darabot). Más blogokon láttam ezt az egyszerű befoglalásos technikát, gondoltam én is kipróbálom.

There is an esotheric bookshop in the city centre, they sell all kinds of candles and stones too. I am not into these but this shop has something special...a machine that looks like an old chewing-gum machine! For 2 Euro you can get a handful colorful stones (around 13-15pcs). This techniue I've always wanted to try - already seen it many times in other blogs. So here it is:

Reading list 2012

The Hungarian blogger Lobo announced a "game" and because I don't only make jewellery but also read a lot in my free time, herewith I publish the list of books I am planning to read in 2012 (and some others non-listed). These I already have at home (and of course additional books can show up on the reading list). BUT these I HAVE TO read.

The first 12 is the original list, the second part (the other 12) are the alternatives. (So I can switch from list 1 to list 2).Next to the titles I have written the language I will read it on. And I will not write standing alone posts for each book I've read. It's only something psychological that the lists are published so I kind of have to read them.

Diese Kette hab ich gemacht nach der ersten Kurs im Kralenwinkel. Da haben wir gelernt wie man das Ende vom Draht abarbeitet und wie man die Stopperlen verwendet. Ich fand die Idee sehr toll und so hab ich sofort noch 3 davon gemacht.

Die erste ist für mich.

Die zweite ist für meine Mutter

Und die dritte war für Isabell, von dem Neben-Sächlichen Blog. Davon hab ich leider kein Foto gemacht. Es war aber mit rosa, blau und weissen Perlen.

Und die ganz neue Variation davon: eine Armband zu Weichnachten fűr meine Lieblingskollegin. Ich hab noch ein Lederband zum Draht genommen, so entstand die coole Variant.

Is it Christmas? Yes!

This peace I have made last week in a workshop organized at work. I never thought I would ever make something like that (no green fingers at all), but it became so nice! And it was fun to make of course.
As it contains real evergreen, my Christmas tree is made of plastic. Hey, why not.
