Daphne

Mult heten tenyleg fent voltunk 24 orat...annyira pozitiv elmeny volt, leirni sem lehet. Mivel en voltam a fenykep-blog- es facebookfelelos, en nem lettem kesz semmivel, csak a ennek a babanak a fejevel es a testevel. Ugyhogy egy het kesessel, de itt van: Daphne.

Last week we really stayed up 24 hours long...it was such a positive experience, it is impossible to even try to describe it. As I was the one responsiible for the photos, blogging an facebook, during the event I barely finished anything, only the head and body of this doll. So with one week delay I prodly present you: Daphne!

A 24 órás kötős-horgolós jótekonysági akció

Az utóbbi egy hónapban elég sokfelé linkeltem mindenfélét, úgyhogy most egy posztba összeszedem, mi lesz ez a 24 órás jótékonysági akció. (október 19-20, Breda, NL)

A helyi fonalboltban workshop álnév alatt minden héten nagyjából ugyanaz a közönség gyűlik össze és tényleg úgy van, hogy kézimunkázás közben a legszemélyesebb-legkedvesebb-legdurvább történetek jönnek elő és teljes természetességgel átbeszéljük-áttámogatjuk-átsirjuk őket együtt.

Anitának, a tulajdonosnőnek a kisfia 2010-ben agydaganattal bekerült a kórházba. Ebből a történetből nőtt ki az akció. A kórházhoz tartozik egy Ronald McDonald ház, itt a beteg gyerekek szülei és testvérei alhatnak. A ház éjjelenként minimális összegért biztosit helyet a családoknak - szponzorokat keresnek a maradék költségek finanszirozására.

Ebben próbálunk mi segiteni. Azzal, hogy felhivjuk a figyelmet arra, hogy szponzorokra szükség van. Azzal, hogy az általunk kötött dolgokat online aukcióra bocsátjuk és a teljes összeget a Ronald mcDonald háznak utaljuk. Azzal, hogy a regisztrációs pénzt is nekik ajánljuk fel. És persze a 24 óra alatt olyan játékokat és takarókat fogunk kötni és horgolni, amit a házban használni tudnak.

Van egy blogunk, ahol minden ide vonatkozó infó megtalálható. Minden anyagi és lelki támogatásnak örülünk.

Október 19-én szombaton reggel 8-tól, 20-án vasárnap reggel 8-ig fent leszünk. Még vannak szabad helyek! Minden lelkesitő sms-nek és emailnek, facebookos megosztásnak nagyon örülünk!

Többek között őket fogjuk megkötni-horgolni / We will knit and crochet all of them for the house!

In the last months I've been linking several stuff about our 24 hours knitting and crocheting marathon, so it's time to make a summary post about what exactly is going to happen. (19-20 October, Breda, NL)

In the local yarn shop for the weekly workshops come more or less the same people with the same interests. And it is true that during crafting you share all your worries and stories with the fellow crafters. So we support each other by listening, holding hands and sometimes crying along.

In 2010 the shop owner's, Anita's son was taken to the hospital with brain tumor.Their story inspired our project. To the hospital belongs a Ronald McDonald House. This house gives accomodation for the parents and siblings of the children in the hospital. For a small amount the families have the posibility to be together and support their children, The house is looking for sponsors. This is where we can help.

With our project we want to drive the attention to the fact that this institution needs sponsors. We ourselves are selling our self-made goods on an online auction and with the money we will sponsor the RMC House. The registration fees will also support the House. And during the 24 hours we will make toys and blankets, things that the house can use.

We will be knitting and crocheting from 8am on 19.10 until 8 am 20.10. There are still free places to register yourself and knit- and crochet along! You would make us very glad with your supporting text messages, emails and facebook shares!
